About Me
To tell you a bit about myself: I turned 50 and decided there must be more to life than working 9 to 5, making money for someone else. I have a quote hanging on my wall “If it’s worth dreaming, it’s worth doing”, so here I am with my own home business which I dreamed of for years!
I am the mother of 3 beautiful, four-legged, tail-wagging children that go by the names: Margie (the baby) and Bugsy & Fang (the twins).
My husband James is camera shy so I had to snap this pic while he was having a nap with Studley, who sadly is no longer with us . James is an artist so I have created a page for him on my Facebook page, and you can see some of his art in my videos.
I have been an accountant since 1989, and love the work; it’s the other stuff that I’ve grown tired of, you know, “office politics”.
I currently live in Manitoba, but grew up in New Brunswick, and have also lived in PEI, Ontario, Quebec, and Germany over the years.
Don’t be concerned about my location if we are potential online business partners and you live in a different country – the beauty of the Internet combined with an international call package means I can contact you wherever you are just as easily and cheaply as if you lived next door to me.
I previously attempted network marketing, twice. It was soooo unsuccessful; I didn’t ever want to try anything like that again. But, as I mentioned earlier, there has to be more to life, so I continued to look for something else. Although I was doing very well as an accountant, and making a good living, as with all employment, I was still just an employee. All the headaches and stress of upper management, but none of the rewards of owning my own business.
Quite by chance, I found myself reading the Coffee House Letter. I could totally relate to it as not only did it sum up the problems I’d already experienced with MLM, it gave me a taste of what problems were still to come when I began to increase my downline.
Direct Sales Marketing, with its promises of an ongoing residual income, seemed like an attractive prospect. And as a successful professional woman I figured it would be something I could do, and enjoy myself at the same time. As part of a team with full training and support I couldn’t fail.
When I came to a testimonial by Mike Dillard, whose marketing courses I’ve since studied: Building On A Budget; Black Belt Recruiting; Magnetic Sponsoring, I was convinced. Not only was there complete training included in their online business network marketing course, they also have their own private wealth group
