Previous studies show that among those who have experienced failure in their life, most of them sited lack of decision as a primary reason for their failure.

Among those who have experienced success, every one of them had the habit of reaching decisions promptly, and of changing these decisions slowly, if at all.

You have a brain and mind of your own. Use it, and reach your own decisions.  By all means, listen to what others have to say, but only take heed of that which serves you and your efforts to achieve your goals.

There is no miracle solution for indecision. There are only the eternal laws of nature which are available to every person who has the faith and the courage to use them.

Those who reach decisions promptly and definitely know what they want, and generally they get it.  The world has the habit of making room for the person whose words and actions show that she knows where she is going.

Indecision is a habit which usually begins in our youth. The habit takes on permanency if we go through our schooling without a definite purpose. The major weakness of all educational systems is that they neither teach nor encourage the habit of definite decision.

Make no mistake, definiteness of decision requires courage, and it is a pre-requisite to success in Direct Sales Marketing.

Online Training – Do You Know What You Want?

Do you know what you really want out of life?

People often fail to discover what they want out of life until it is too late – and that is a shame.

Many people spend the best years of their lives wishing for things to be different and doing things they dislike. Someone once described humanity by saying, “Most people die at twenty and are buried at eighty.” Are you one of these living zombies?

What do you really want out of life?

Many people struggle to answer this question. When asked what they want or what their goals in life are, they are unsure. They put off making any decision, hardly giving any thought about what they want in life. People without definite goals are letting time pass them by. Are you one of these people?

If you are undecided about what you want out of life, not to worry, there are many ways of discovering your purpose in life.

Try looking deep into your heart. Oftentimes, people are ruled by logic, living their life based on what they think they should be or by what others would like them to be. The discovery process is the perfect time to listen to your heart. What your heart desires comes from the whispers of your authentic self, the real you.

Listen to your heart to hear your authentic self. What your heart says usually feels right. What your heart desires is what you usually love to do, your passion. Be it direct sales marketing through an online business opportunity, or something else, done with passion it is like play and the task is accomplished without hesitation. You give your very best and feel no pressure or resistance.

You will totally enjoy doing things that are your passion. Setbacks, difficulties, and obstacles will make it more challenging, but should not deter you from pursuing your goals. Naturally, there may be barriers that may prevent you from reaching your goal, but your heart’s desire will find ways to overcome these barriers so that you may ultimately get what you want in life. Remember this: the universe supports people who are pursuing their passion and those who are pursuing their destiny.

This does not mean that you don’t have to use your head. People are born with both a mind and a heart. Your duty is to live your best life and be in harmony with your heart and mind. The poet Rumi wisely said, “Live completely in the head and you cannot feel the breath and rhythm of life. Live completely in the heart and you may find yourself acting like a love-struck fool with poor judgment and discipline. It’s all a fine balance – the head and heart must forge a lifetime partnership if one wants to live a beautiful life.”

Part of human nature is the mysterious and spontaneous reaction to things, instincts. Your authentic self communicates with you and guides you via these instincts. Instincts are those gentle nudges that urge you to act and follow a certain path. Your role then, is to listen attentively.

Often, we listen to what others say and allow them to influence our lives. Parents often do this to their children. “We come from a family of pharmacists, so my son must also be a pharmacist.” How often do we hear this from parents who have good intentions for their children? Parents unconsciously block the true expression of their child’s real self and calling.

Friends and critics will discourage you and point out the impossibility of your dreams. Before heeding their advice, evaluate the accomplishments of these critics. Did they achieve their dreams? Do they have dreams at all?

Remember, it is your destiny that is on the line, not theirs. This does not mean that you should not listen to what other people say. Hear them out, but the final decision should always be your own.

One thing to remember: every person, to live truly and greatly, must define how he wants to live and what his ideal life will look like.  Listen to your instincts and follow your heart’s desire. You will never go wrong.

Direct Sales Marketing – Are You Deceiving Yourself?

We have all heard the warning “Man, know thyself!”

If you are in Direct Sales Marketing you must know the merchandise. The same is true in marketing personal services and branding yourself. You should know all of your weaknesses so you can work with them, or improve on them. You should know your strengths so you can play to them and take advantage of them.

In order to know yourself you must perform an accurate analysis.

Look, we all want more, and the key to getting more, is to be worth more.  Many people mistake what they want for what they deserve, but one has nothing to do with the other. Your financial requirements or wants have nothing whatsoever to do with your worth. Your value is based entirely on your ability to render useful service or your capacity to encourage others to render such service.

If you are in the business of delivering personal services then you will want to perform an annual self-analysis, something like doing a physical inventory of merchandise at a brick and mortar business.  We all know that the world is an ever-changing place; things do not remain static for long.  The same is true of people.  We move ahead, we fall behind, but rarely do we stay the same.  Your annual self analysis should reflect a decrease in your faults and an increase in your virtues if you are making improvements.

Take this inventory by asking yourself the following 28 questions, and by checking your answers with the aid of someone who will be honest with you and not allow you to deceive yourself.

SELF-ANALYSIS QUESTIONNAIRE FOR PERSONAL INVENTORY:

  1. Have I attained the goal that I established as my objective for this year? You should have a definite, measurable yearly objective to be attained as a part of your major life objective and for your Online Marketing Business Opportunity

  12. Have I dissipated any of my energy through lack of concentrated effort?
  13. Have I been open-minded and tolerant in connection with all subjects?
  14. In what way have I improved my ability to render service?
  15. Have I been excessive in any of my habits?
  16. Have I expressed, either openly or secretly, any form of egotism?
  17. Has my conduct toward my Internet Income Opportunity associates been such that it has induced them to respect me?
  18. Have my opinions and decisions been based on guesswork, or accurate analysis and thought?
  19. Have I followed the habit of budgeting my time, my expenses, and my income, and have I been conservative in these budgets?
  20. How much time have I devoted to unprofitable effort which I might have used to better advantage?
  21. How may I re-budget my time, and change my habits so I will be more efficient during the coming year?
  22. Have I been guilty of any conduct which was not approved by my conscience?
  23. In what ways have I rendered more service and better service than I was paid to render?

  25. If I had been the purchaser of my own services for the past year, would I be satisfied with my purchase?

Make this rating fairly, and frankly, and have it checked by someone who is courageous enough to do it accurately.

Online Training – Final Causes of Failure

Thus far we have covered the first twenty causes of failure as put forth by Napoleon Hill in his book Think And Grow Rich.

Today I would like to have a closer look at the last ten.

21.   The habit of indiscriminate spending. Spending rather than saving gives one a sense of perpetual poverty.  Saving, on the other hand, can provide a sense of security. This security allows more freedom to explore new opportunities for our Business Opportunity, which can lead to success.

22.   Lack of enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is contagious, and shows a passion for what you are doing. This passion and enthusiasm attract others of similar mind.

23.   Intolerance.  This is an indicator of someone with a closed mind, someone who has stopped learning and growing.  The kiss of death when success is your goal.

24.   Intemperance.  Overindulgence in any form is rarely in our best interest. Excessive food makes us lethargic, excessive alcohol hinders our ability to function properly.  Failure is inevitable.

25.   Inability to cooperate with others.  We have discussed the advantages of a Master Mind group.  If we are incapable of working with others, who would want us in their group as we would cause nothing but disruption and this is not conducive to success.

26.   Possession of power that was not acquired through self effort. We have seen this cause of failure time and time again.  The children of wealthy, successful people who inherit their wealth and power rather than earning it, or the lottery winner who is worse off financially five years after the big win.

27.   Intentional dishonesty. This may work in the short term, but over time reputation is lost, and perhaps liberty as well.

28.   Egotism and vanity.  The selfish person thinks only of themselves, and this is not the road to success in Direct Sales Marketing.

29.   Guessing instead of thinking.  The successful person makes decisions based on facts, not guesswork and supposition.

30.   Lack of capital. This can be the most difficult for the person starting their first business venture.  Mistakes will be made, expect them.  We must have enough start-up capital to weather these mistakes and keep our Internet Income Opportunity going.
