Online Marketing Business – Do Follow

Posted by admin on Mar 17, 2010

If you’ve been doing any research on link building, then you’ve probably seen the terms nofollow and dofollow. These are very important terms to understand when you’re trying to build great links back to your site in order to increase your search engine rankings.

DoFollow doesn’t technically exist; instead, it is the absence of the nofollow tag in a link. Links with nofollow do not count as backlinks to Google and other search engines, so you don’t get the search engine ranking benefit.

Almost all blog platforms by default are set up to nofollow so that whenever there is a link in a comment the search engines will not “count” the link as they are crawling the Internet. This was originally designed to help stop comment spam, but it doesn’t work. What it does is remove some of the incentive for your readers to contribute to your site by commenting on your posts.

What can you do about it? Turn off nofollow. Show your commenters that you appreciate them. Spread the link love.  (Be sure to turn on spam filters like Akismet and WPSpamFree.)

So, when you’re looking for sites and blogs to leave your link, figure out if the links you’re aiming for use nofollow or not. A good way to do this is to view the source code, or find some good dofollow lists such as Courtney Tuttle’s D-list.

Another great place to find dofollow blogs is at DoFollow Blogs Search Engine, DoFollow Diver!

Internet Income Opportunity – What Is Your Desire?

Posted by admin on Mar 15, 2010

The starting point for everything is desire. If we do not desire something, we will not have the driving force to achieve it.

If I desire more money, I will look for ways to acquire more money, perhaps through an Internet Income Opportunity.

If I desire more friends, I will look for ways to meet more people and make more friends.

If I do not desire these things, I will not search for ways to acquire them; it’s as simple as that.

It is desire that encourages our persistence, which pushes us to achieve our goal of a successful Direct Sales Marketing business.

Napoleon Hill, in Think And Grow Rich, sets out six steps to achieving riches. These same steps can be followed to achieve anything we desire in this life, simply replace ***** with whatever it is you desire.

These six steps are:

1 – Fix in your mind the exact amount of ***** you desire.
2 – Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the ***** you desire.
3 – Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the ***** you desire.
4 – Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once to put this plan into action, whether you are ready or not.
5 – Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of ***** you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the *****, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.
6 – Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after waking in the morning. As you read—see and feel and believe yourself already in possession of the *****.

It is crucial that we actually believe we will possess what we desire.

So, we must have a definite purpose, know what it is that we want, and a burning desire to possess it.

DO NOT QUIT!

We are not defeated until we accept defeat as a reality.

We are not ready to receive our desires until we believe we can acquire them.

Open-mindedness is essential for belief.

“Our only limitations are those we set up in our own minds.” – Napoleon Hill

Nothing is impossible to the person who backs DESIRE with enduring FAITH. This is why I follow Online Internet Marketing Training to achieve my desired results in my Online Marketing Business Opportunity.

Internet Marketing Training – Your Success Starts Here

Posted by admin on Mar 11, 2010

Over the years I’ve heard of many secrets to success: the secret to a successful Internet Income Opportunity; the secret to a long and happy life; the secret to getting rich.

With the knowledge that I have gained from my personal development reading, I would like to share with you what I believe is the real secret.

But first, what exactly is our definition of success?

According to Wikipedia, success may mean, but is not limited to:

  • a level of social status
  • achievement of an objective/goal
  • the opposite of failure
  • the succession of successfully executed tasks and successes

Right there is the problem as I see it … it is not important what someone else perceives as success, but it is important for us to determine our own definition of success.

This is the starting point.  How can we know if we are successful when we do not know what constitutes success?  How would we know when we have achieved it?

Here is my personal definition of success: achieving my desired results.

So, here is what I see as the real secret to success … knowing what you really want.

Our next task then is to determine what it is that we desire.  Is it monetary gain, social popularity, status, an Online Marketing Business Opportunity, or something completely different?

Let’s assume now that we have determined what it is that we truly desire, what’s next?

Mindset and Direct Sales Marketing

We must become success conscious.

Human endowments of self-awareness, imagination, conscience and independent will give us the tools we need to become success conscious.

Because we have the power to control our thoughts, we can determine our mindset.

Be careful here.  This works just as well for negative thoughts as it does for positive ones.

We must examine our limiting beliefs: I’m too old; I’m not smart enough; I can’t afford it; you get the point.

These limiting beliefs are extremely detrimental to our success.  If we believe that we cannot achieve something, we won’t.  It’s as simple as that.

Online Internet Marketing Training – Being Effective

Posted by admin on Mar 4, 2010

Like many things in life, becoming effective is an ongoing process.  We can’t just wake up one day and decide to be effective, it doesn’t work that way.  Much like our Direct Sales Marketing, we must actively work at it.

The process starts with ourselves, working from the inside-out.

Most of us believe that we see things objectively and therefore we see things as they truly are.  This is not the case.  We see things as we have been conditioned to see them.

How we see the world is a reflection of our past experiences, and the teachings of those around us.

We all form habits in our lives, some good, some not so good.  Effective people work to replace the bad habits with better ones.  This takes time.  In most cases, a habit takes 21 days of concentrated effort to develop.

In order to become effective, we must start with ourselves.  Only then can we move on to being effective with others.

The first step is to become proactive.  We must realize that we are our own creators, we are in control of our lives and how we spend our time.  This is essential for our Internet Income Opportunity.

A major consideration here is examining our Circle of Influence, what we have control over.  These are the things we should concentrate on.  The result of this concentration is that our Circle of Influence expands, causing the areas over which we have little or no control to shrink.

The basic human endowments of self-awareness, imagination, conscience, and independent will give us the tools we need to become proactive in our lives and our Online Marketing Business Opportunity

The next step is to look ahead and see where we want to end up.  Where do we want to be in 5 years, 10 years, etc?  Once we know where we are going, we can determine what we need to do to get there.

This is about leadership – doing the right things.

All things in life have two creations: the mental first creation (planning); and the physical second creation (acting).

A personal Mission Statement can be extremely useful to help us plan and act.

The third step is the physical act of doing what we planned in the second step.

This is all about effective self-management, working within our Circle of Influence.

There are many time-management tools that can help us to get organized and prioritize so that we are dealing with the important things in our lives.

The more proactive we are, dealing with the important things, the less often we will be called upon to deal with urgent things.  For example, if we take care of our health now, we are less likely to require urgent attention in the future.

At this point, we have dealt with the inside, ourselves.  Now it’s time to move outward, dealing with others … effectively.

Our goal here is to become interdependent.  You’ve heard the saying two brains are better than one.  That’s what I’m talking about here, working effectively with others toward a common goal.

Our objective should always be Win-Win … everyone wins, there are no losers.

This can be difficult, especially in the beginning.

If we hope to be truly effective and interdependent, we must learn how to communicate effectively.  Listening with the intent to truly understand what people are saying to us, not merely listening so we can prepare our response.

We want to understand not only the words being said, but also the emotions and feelings behind the words.

Once we truly understand what we are being told, we can empathize, show that we understand the other person’s point of view, and then we can communicate our differing point of view.

Now is the time to find a third approach that neither person would have thought of, but one that is better than the two original approaches.

We want to value differences, not avoid them.  Think how much better life would be if we work together and everyone wins!

Trust in one another is the key here.  This can take time to build, but will be well worth the time as the end result will be amazing.  Trust is best built by understanding one another, keeping our promises, clarifying our expectations of one another, showing personal integrity, and apologizing quickly and from the heart when we do something wrong.

If we can follow these steps, we will be effective and working interdependently toward our goals.

Remember, we must work on these things constantly; they are not a one-shot-deal.

There are four areas in life that we must take care of to maintain what we have gained: physical (eating, exercise, etc.), mental (continuing education), spiritual (living within our core values), and emotional (interpersonal leadership, effective communication, cooperation).

If we can do this right, our lives will be amazing, and we will be more in control of the outcome.

Thanks for joining me.  That’s a wrap for The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People, by Stephen R. Covey.  Join me next week as I start on a new journey with Napoleon Hill and his book Think And Grow Rich.
